I am so thrilled to be featured in the September issue of SARIE on Mindful Eating! It’s so great to see local content. Thank you, Lydia. Although the title suggests that tasting what you eat makes you thinner, I don’t promote Mindful Eating as a means to lose weight. Weight loss occurs sometimes with some people, but the most important part is breaking free from the dieting trap and ending the struggle with food and our bodies. There are so many benefits to Mindful Eating that have nothing to do with weight loss – there is such freedom in stopping the diet roller coaster and in making peace with all types of food and ofcourse, gaining acceptance of your body no matter what size!
