Set Your Vision For 2024

I believe each year has its joys and its sorrows.

Each year has both ease and difficulty, happiness and sadness, success and failure to varying degrees.

What if, for this coming year we could be open to receive it as it comes?

Not resist, not fear, not expect, but simply allow.

Our task is to find a relationship to the way things are in each moment.

Can we find the courage to surrender to what will be?

Accept the joys.

Accept the sorrows.

Let go of the old and whatever is not serving us.

Make space for the new.

Find a way to live this time as it is.

Let us retain hope and take in the good.

Here are some questions to help you reflect on the past year and set intentions for the year to come.

  1. Describe 2023 in one sentence?
  2. What were your biggest challenges?
  3. How did you overcome them?
  4. What was your greatest lesson from these challenges?
  5. What accomplishment are you most proud of?
  6. At the end of 2023 what do you want to release?
  7. How do you want to live your life in 2024?
  8. What is one change you are willing to make?
  9. How do you want to contribute to improve your community?
  10. What brave risk will you take?

As the year ends, I would like to thank you, dear reader, for being here! With love and gratitude to you as you enter into 2024, may you take care of yourself with joy!

“From our first meeting - two faces on Zoom across the world from each other, there was a sense of familiarity and comfort that was a healing balm for a lifetime of food struggles and dieting. Without realizing how much damage I had done to myself by adhering, for decades, to restrictive food plans and rigid diet programs, Xen had a way of redirecting the harsh and negative self-talk and sending me forth each week with compassion, mindfulness and a new way of seeing myself in the here and now. Gone are the maybe somedays, and if-only, and when-I’m-smaller thinking. Now I am committed to the imperfect and rocky path to listening to my body, accepting my perfect imperfections, and rejecting diet mentality. Those negative voices will revisit me from time to time, I know, but Xen has offered valuable tools for meeting each day as a fresh start - another choice, another chance. Her devotion to this work and her belief in her clients is a remarkable gift; I am so fortunate to have found her. It is never too late to let go of the drama and embrace joy, ease and self-acceptance.”
